【摘要】:ThisInternationalStandardspecifiesbasicrequirementstoensurecompatibilitybetweenrailsystemscomplyingwiththisInternationalStandardandmedicalequipmentinordertofacilitatethetransferofmedicalequipmentfromonerailsystemtoanother.Thespecificationsforrailsystemsincludedimensions,strengthandinformationtobesuppliedbythemanufacturer.ThisInternationalStandardappliesonlytorailsystemsintendedtobemountedhorizontally.ThisInternationalStandarddoesnotspecifyeitherthestructurestowhicharailsystemcanbeattachedorthetypesofmedicalequipmentthatcanbesupported.ThisInternationalStandarddoesnotapplytooverheadrailsystemsforsupportingcurtainsandinfusiondevices.NOTE1SomemedicalequipmentcanbeattachedtotherailbymeansthatareoutsidethescopeofthisInternationalStandard.NOTE2ItisexpectedthatparticularstandardswillbepreparedtocoverapplicationsforwhichtherailsystemsspecifiedinthisInternationalStandardareunsuitable.
