【摘要】:Thistestmethodcanbeusedtodetermineanti-wearpropertiesandcoefficientoffrictionofEPlubricatingoilsatselectedtemperaturesandloadsspecifiedforuseinapplicationsinwhichhigh-speedvibrationalorstart-stopmotionsarepresentforextendedperiodsoftimeunderinitialhighHertzianpointcontactpressures.Ithasfoundapplicationasascreeningtestforlubricantsusedingearorcam/followersystems.Usersofthistestmethodshoulddeterminewhetherresultscorrelatewithfieldperformanceorotherapplications.1.1Thistestmethodcoversanextremepressure(EP)lubricatingoil''scoefficientoffrictionanditsabilitytoprotectagainstwearwhensubjectedtohigh-frequency,linearoscillationmotion.TheprocedureisidenticaltothatdescribedinDIN51834.1.2Thistestmethodcanalsobeusedtodeterminetheabilityofanon-EPlubricatingoiltoprotectagainstwearanditscoefficientoffrictionundersimilartestconditions.1.3ThevaluesstatedinSIunitsaretoberegardedasstandard.Nootherunitsofmeasurementareincludedinthisstandard.1.4Thisstandarddoesnotpurporttoaddressallofthesafetyconcerns,ifany,associatedwithitsuse.Itistheresponsibilityoftheuserofthisstandardtoestablishappropriatesafetyandhealthpracticesanddeterminetheapplicabilityofregulatorylimitationspriortouse.
